Bender recruited a stellar cast of artists to generate this timely collaboration. Bender, alongside Heather Beeman, Lucy Grinnan, Shelagh Hackett, Laura Sargent Hall, Scarlet Johnson, Roberta Kirn, Leah Littlefield, Jane Loutzenhiser, Danielle Mulcahy, Hadassah Nelson, Katie Federowicz Perez, Darby Patterson, Molly Purves, Sabrina Reppert, Jodie Treloar Sampson, and Libby Stackhouse responded to the question "Where Am I?" with movement, music, comedy, poetry, and visuals. The show, devised for the most part over a two-day generative process, was assembled by Bender into a seamless evening-length work that explores our shared humanity, in particular the demoralizing weight of grief and the resilient necessity of laughter and joy.
