Since 2023, these projects at Pathways have been an annual or biannual event for and by female and nonbinary professional and fledgling artists working in various media. An evening-length work is created in a one-day collaborative intensive in which the makers and performers respond to a prompt - this installment's being the word "enough." The material generated is then stitched together by Bender into a cohesive evening-length "performance quilt", rehearsed briefly and performed the following Saturday. Bender invites a different cast of dancers, writers, actors, musicians, improvisers and poets for each incarnation. March performers include Abby Bender, Camille Beauzile, Heather Beeman, Nicole Galland, Laura Hall, Roberta Kirn, Elle Lash, Sheila McHugh Hazell, Katie Federowitz Perez, Erika Pires, Jenna Robicheau,Tiffiney Shoquist, and Sian Williams. What results from this process promises to be rich with immediacy, intimacy, comedy, and community.
